Three steps from phone call to fresh sod on your driveway. Same-week delivery standard across most of Louisiana. Same-day possible on early-morning calls.
Call (985) 206-8585 or send your zip code, square footage, and grass type through our quote form. Same-day response every business day. Contractor accounts route to a dedicated line.
We confirm pricing and lock a delivery window inside an hour. We match you with the closest Louisiana sod farm growing your variety. Most orders route from the Tangipahoa, Acadiana, or Central Louisiana growing regions.
Cut from the farm the morning of delivery. Loaded direct, delivered to your address. Unwrap and install, or we send a crew if you added installation at the quote stage.
Lead time depends on how close your address is to the farm growing your variety. Most of the state is in the same-week category. The numbers below are typical ranges, not promises.
Note: Same-day delivery is possible on early-morning calls (before 9 AM) when your variety is in season and you are inside Tier-1 delivery territory.
| Region | Typical Lead Time |
|---|---|
| Greater Baton Rouge | 2 to 4 days |
| Florida Parishes | 2 to 4 days |
| Greater New Orleans | 2 to 5 days |
| Acadiana | 2 to 5 days |
| Bayou Region | 3 to 5 days |
| Southwest Louisiana | 3 to 5 days |
| Central Louisiana | 3 to 5 days |
| North Louisiana | 3 to 7 days |
| Statewide rural pockets | 5 to 10 days |
When your order comes in, we run it against a few things: which Louisiana sod farms are cutting your variety right now, which farm is closest to your delivery zip, what each farm has on the cut schedule for tomorrow, and how the truck run lines up with other orders going your direction.
The right farm gets your order. The harvest schedule slots your pallet for cut on the morning of delivery. The truck route picks up your sod and drops it on your address before noon, or in the afternoon window if you scheduled a later slot.
Pulling your sod from the right farm is our job. The farms grow the sod. We line up the cut, the truck, and the drop-off. Your part is opening the front gate.
Most of Louisiana is inside our same-week delivery footprint. Tier-1 parishes (East Baton Rouge, Jefferson, Orleans, Tangipahoa, St. Tammany, Lafayette, Calcasieu, and Caddo among them) get 2 to 4 day turnaround standard. Same-day is possible on early-morning calls inside core territory when your variety is in season.
We say "standard" not "guaranteed" on purpose. Weather, equipment, harvest schedules, and seasonal demand all affect lead times. Most weeks, most orders go out within the same-week window. We will tell you straight at the quote stage what the realistic window looks like for your address and variety.
If you want sod installed instead of just delivered, ask at the quote stage. Installation is available for most Louisiana addresses through our partner installer network. We will roll the install pricing into your quote so you have one number for the whole job.
Install crews handle the prep (light grading, soil amendment if needed), the lay (tight seam work, no gaps), and the watering tutorial for the first 7 to 10 days. Most residential installs finish same-day.
Bigger jobs (multi-pallet, full yards, contractor projects) get a custom install quote with crew size and timeline scoped to the project.
If a pallet arrives in bad shape (heat-damaged, dried out, dead, or significantly broken), we replace it at no charge when reported within 24 hours of delivery. Photos help us route the report to the farm fast and get a replacement on your address.
Note: Sod that fails because of poor install (no watering, install on dry compacted soil, install during a heat wave without water lined up) is not covered. We will help you diagnose what went wrong and offer guidance, but a damaged-pallet replacement is for transit and harvest issues, not install issues.
Typical lead time is 2 to 4 days for Tier-1 parishes (East Baton Rouge, Jefferson, Orleans, Tangipahoa, St. Tammany, Lafayette, Calcasieu, Caddo) and 3 to 7 days for the rest of the state. Same-day is possible on early-morning calls inside core territory when your variety is in season.
Sometimes. Same-day requires an early-morning call (before 9 AM), a variety that is in season at a nearby farm, and a delivery zip inside core Tier-1 territory. It is not the standard offering, but we make it work when conditions line up.
Light rain does not stop delivery. Heavy storms or severe weather may push your delivery to the next available window. We call you the morning of delivery if weather forces a reschedule.
Yes, but you do not need to be. Most deliveries are direct driveway drop, no signature required. If you have a specific drop location (side yard, alley, gate access), tell us at the quote stage and we will note it on the delivery ticket.
Report it within 24 hours with photos. We replace damaged pallets at no charge when the issue is transit or harvest related. Install-related issues (no watering, dry soil, heat wave install without water) are not covered.
Call us. We will route your sod to the right farm and get it on your driveway this week.
